O'r Wasg
Ydy’r cyfryngau yn niweidio’r berthynas rhwng pobl hŷn a phobl iau?

Dyma’r cwestiwn allweddol sy’n cael ei drafod gan Reithgor Dinasyddion Llywodraeth Cynulliad Cymru, a fydd yn cael ei gynnal yn Neuadd y Sir, Cwmbrân ar 1 Hydref 2009. Mae pobl yn cael eu gwahodd i ddweud a ydy’r ffordd y mae pobl iau a phobl hyn yn cael eu portreadu gan y cyfryngau, yn eu barn nhw, yn niweidio’r berthynas rhwng y cenedlaethau.

Digwyddiadau Urddas mewn Gofal

Ar ran Gwenda Thomas AC, y Gweinidog dros Iechyd a Gwasanaethau Cymdeithasol, hoffai’r Grŵp Cydlynu Cenedlaethol Urddas mewn Gofal wahodd cydweithwyr i un o’r digwyddiadau isod ynglŷn â’r ddarpariaeth gofal i bobl hŷn. Mae’r digwyddiadau hyn wedi’u bwriadu ar gyfer comisiynwyr, rheolwyr caffael a darparwyr ar draws yr holl sectorau gofal cymdeithasol.

Dr Win Tadd a Chadeirydd y Grŵp Cydlynu fydd yn darparu’r hyfforddiant, ar y cyd â Sandra Jones o Gyngor Sir Ddinbych. Mae Win wedi datblygu enw da yn rhyngwladol am ei gwaith ym maes urddas mewn gofal, a Sandra fu’n gyfrifol am greu’r dull newydd o weithredu gan ddefnyddio ‘teulu Ceri’ – sef teulu ‘rhithwir’ a enillodd wobr Gofal Cymdeithasol yn ddiweddar. Bydd y digwyddiadau hyn yn rhad ac am ddim ac wedi’u seilio ar waith Win a Sandra, a chânt eu trefnu gan y pedair Partneriaeth Ranbarthol Gofal Cymdeithasol.

Cynhelir y 6 digwyddiad fel a ganlyn. Dylech gael ffurflenni archebu trwy anfon e-bost at yr enw cyswllt priodol a’u dychwelyd cyn gynted ag y bo modd i sicrhau eich lle.

From the Press
Does the media damage the relationship between older people and younger people?

This is the key question under discussion at the Welsh Assembly Government’s Citizens Jury to be held at County Hall, Cwmbran on 1 October 2009. People are being invited to have their say on whether the portrayal of young and old people by the media is damaging the relationship between generations.

Dignity in Care Events

On behalf of Gwenda Thomas AM, Minister for Health & Social Services, the Dignity in Care National Co-ordinating Group would like to invite colleagues to attend one of the events in relation to the provision of dignified services to older people.  These events are targeted at commissioners, procurement managers and providers across all social care sectors.
